Mic was infamous for his Chris Webby dis tape, which was fine with me cause I'm not a huge Webby fan. But this song is a statement that Mic is here to stay as he samples Currensey's "In The Sun"which gives Mic a real relaxing feel, that allows this Brooklyn boy to show his diversity through an ever changing flow, listen to 2:46 to 3:48 and hear Mic's poetical style

Young Lace
Lace is a rapper out of California who writes for both rap and R&B records. He's performed at parties from Vegas to New York for stars like Paris Hilton and DJ Khaled. This man started his own music/marketing business at 17 and has recorded over 50 records in a two month period, the dude gets shit done.
Hit up the following videos
"I Don't Wanna Be You" Great song without Wiz, but he kills it
Sam Adams
This is the first apearance of Sam on my blog. I liked what he did with "I hate College" and a couple other songs like "Coming Up" and "Coast to Coast" but his whole frat music dubstep thing didn't really do it for me. In this song he shows artistic emotional talent through his sample of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts"
But here's his song
OFWGKTA
OFTWGKTA stands for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All and is a rap group out of Los Angeles, and signed by XL recordings. They remind me of an all Eminem D12, the group just completed a tour that went to New York City and England. And this February they have an upcoming show in D.C at the U Street Music Hall.
Make sure to give these guys a listen and watch their videos especially the three following which introduce you to the group. Then the next two show your their rapping talent
Tyler, the creator of the group
Completing tasks texted in from fans
The group being silly
"Fall Back" Real emotional, and grown feel
'Earl'.. Real Eminem rapping style, with their own flow and beat
Look them up on youtube they have tons of hilarious talented videos
Yonas
I'm new to Yonas but he is a rapper out of the Empire State and has a new age Big L/Nas flow. Hit up the videos. Make sure you listen to fall back

Making Beats with Brenton
Welcome to the mind of Brenton Duvall
Me being a HUGE Skrillex and Brenton fan this song to me is like if that "Blue Oyster shit met that Afghan Kush I had - and they had a baby. And then, meanwhile, that crazy Northern Light stuff I had and the Super Red Espresso Snowflake met and had a baby. And by some miracle, those two babies met and fucked - "Blow That Skrilla" would be what that they birthed.
"With Your Friends' Skrillex

Eminem
"Oh No"
This song was supposed to be on Eminem's latest album Relapse but didn't make the cut. It has all the new marks of Eminem from Nyquil references to the ever so common sexual relations between him and his father. So if you enjoyed Relapse as much as i did, give this song a listen.
"Dudey" Feat. Obie Trice
This is a tribute to Em's fallen brother Proof and was completed by Obie Trice, working off Em's song "Difficult". Dudey was the nickname Proof and Em had for each other, which is where the song gets it's name. All of Em's talents come out in this heartfelt song through his lyrical story telling, which is why I fell in love with Eminem back in 2000. Obie Trice also added a real nice proof verse thats used twice. LIsten up to this song and give appreciation for an artist letting us into his life
"I found that jacket that you left at my wedding
and I picked it up to smell it
I wrapped it up in plastic until I put it in glass
and hang up in the hallway so I can always look at it"

Little Comets "One Night In October"
One of the coolest, most talented videos I've heard/seen in a while. Eight hands, one guitar, and four voices. These guys are from New Castle England, and were signed by Columbia Records in 2008. They call their genre kitchen sink indie.. just watch the video and prepare to be impressed
"One Night in October"
"Isles" A very nice ode to the British Isles
CurT@!n$- "Knocked Up" (Killer Mix)
I was excited to do this post as soon as I heard it. This is the first time I've listened to CurT@!n$ but I'm very impressed. "Knocked Up" samples Kings of Leon's "Knocked Up" which adds a dreamy feel to it but when the sample stops CurT@!n$ brings out his talents. Check it out on the media player bellow
Here is some more of CurT@!n$, get acquainted
"2 Sports Cars" Feat Dorm Kennedy.. nice video
"4th Chamber" Great song. Has that old school Wu Tang flow
CurT@!n$ has a mixtape out called "Killer Tape".. Which I will be reviewing and posting about soon, so stay tuned
Governor Feat. 50 Cent " Here We Go Again"
Always been a big 50 cent fan, he's been out of it for a bit now but this live performance show's how much talent he has, the live band adds a great feel, and Governor has an amazing R Kelly/Charlie Wilson sound. Governor is signed under 50's new record label "G Note", which is specifically for R&B, Pop, and Dance artists.
Young Prince Freestyle Tape.. Back To The Basics
First this will be a longer post than usually because Prince is under For Tha Future Productions so i gotta put in extra work for my DMV boys, and second sorry the font/spacing looks weird, but I'm still gonna post this cause I want it out there asap.
Prince just dropped this freestyle mixtape yesterday as a Good Music All Day Exclusive . Pretty nice tape, that shows Prince's versatility and creativeness on the mic through his freestyles.
Here's a review of the tape, be sure to click on the Good Music All Day link to download the tape. Click any of the songs for a download
"Brain Storming"- YP shows his slow grown up style in this freestyle , really like the brief background guitar
"Day Dreaming" Sippin on sweet tea high as can be. well said. Nice combination of keyboard beats with the steel drum
"Party In The Sky"- First thing I thought of when I heard this was star wars, and halo. It goes on like that for about 50 seconds then the beat drops and Prince kills it
"Please Take Your Seat"- Probably my favorite song on this mixtape, sort of has a pump up feel to it
"Premium Feature"- I'm currently trying to learn how to play the piano, so I'm automatically drawn to anything with nice piano sample like this song. This is another favorite track of mine

Die Antwoord
Not new music but Die Antwoord was just introduced to my ears yesterday. Die Antwoord is a futuristic rave crew from South Africa who rep a new style of music called Zef. The big dude on the far right is called DJ HI-TEK, the girl in the mustard pants goes by ¥O-LANDI VI$$ER, and the crouching guy on the far left is the rap master NINJA.
This group is out of their mind. but i like them
This video called "Zef Side" explains more about their group
This video for their song "Enter The Ninja" is a great song, explaining what it's like to live in the racial melting pot of South Africa... but the video is beyond nuts. watch

Acoustic KiD CuDi. "You Can Run"
Great song by Bryan Greenberg, this would be a hit even without CuDi, but the addition of Mr. rager adds smooth and heart felt rap lyricism. definitely give this a listen and download
Lupe. "Words I Never Said"
Lupe clearly has many thoughts about the state of America today, and he holds nothing back in this song. Listen closely, look up the lyrics, and interpret his message.
Yung Ralph Ft. Nicki Minaj " I Bought That"
If you read my review of Nicki's pink friday you know i love nicki minaj. nothing too special about this song but it's tight none the less.

Rihanna??
What are you doing to yourself rihanna? decent song but this video gives me nightmares and is a wee bit provocative for me, but then again i faint at the site of blood so watch for yourself.
"S&M"
Favorite new BLAZEY "Two Bitches"
This is my favorite song Blazey has released since his mixtape Real.Big.Year, nice chill party song, with a dope, different beat then what Blazey usually fucks with, kind of has a kid cudi feel, which i like.
Listen ^^, download, show to your friends, girl friends, and family. wasgoody
Download this. now. "Two Bitches"
