Blazey does nothing but make music. Listen up to these new songs, in anticipation for his second mix tape "Summertime Highs 2" which will definitely be something to look out for because this kid improves every single day.
"Daydreamin' From 30,000 Feet"
Blazey samples Mac Millers "La La La" and adds his own twist listen up
Blazey "M.O.N.E.Y" Freestyle.... he's after the money
First song since the releasing of his mix tape WAR which you should go download Here if you haven't. "One More Night" is another party song for Prince, using that auto tone nicely, not overdoing it at all.
First off I got a sketchy notice from media fire today talking about piracy and what not so I'm a bit timid to put up more downloads until I figure out what all their jargon means. but I'll keep posting stuff. apologies for inconvenience
Not Wiz's most creative song but a definite download as usual.
"Roll Up"
another song for the radios, but i like it more than "On My Level".
hopefully i figure out this mediafire problem soon.
Haven't heard of Franky Murdock before, but he's repping DopeHouse and is Young Prince's brother. Prince and Franky did a song together on Princes mixtape WAR, called "Work It Out", its fire, click it to download.
He obviously does big things and has just as much talent as well. This song has a real chill, grown up feel, that im diggin and at 4:48 he switches it up and goes in real hard, which i like a lot. Pretty good video too.
Brenton's Micheal Jackson sample is clearly what makes this song. definitely give a listen to and download. Brenton has been droping fire lately making colabs for talented artists, he has a show with hoodie allen coming up in Boston MA, at Paradise Rock Club, so we can only assume he will be dropping some fire with Hoodie Allen soon.
Chris Young is a cali based rapper off of Bannabeat Records, and his new 2011 jam "Postin Westcoastin" is the first song off his upcoming project "Value Pack II: Cream & Sugar"
This isn't the actual mixtape cover, but i think its pretty tight so i put it up. This is a great second mixtape for Prince, I've posted about Prince about 3 times by now, and let me tell you how sweet of a feeling it is to write about someone a couple months ago, who was pretty unkown to anyone outside the DMV and now he is all over blogs and the internet. Shout outs again to For Tha Furture Productions and Prince for all the hard work they do, its finally paying off. It's gonna be a Real.Big.Year for FTF and Prince, keep those ears open and toss them javelins
Not a great song, and i got much respect for Juicy J but he doesn't really add too much artistic flow, or even stick to his usual style, but he goes for a brick squad sound, which really doesnt work in my opinion. I'm a pretty big MGK fan and he saves the track if you ask me, but listen for yourself
So I've been hearing about the Sweizy Nation for a while now, and I just listened to their joint "Sweizy Lingo" and immediately knew I had to do a post. Sweizy nation is holding it down in DC and is repping For Tha Future Productions just like so many other young artists in the ever so creative and young DMV.
This song has a gucci mane feel and just proves my point how much versatility coming out of DC. Spaceman and Top Dolla are also part of a live GOgo band called XIB, and they have a show at DC Star Night Club coming up on February 11th with new sensation Travis Porter. Definitely worth going to and I think I'll be getting some behind the scenes footage of the show as well, so look out for that.
I'm in love with this video. "Make It rain" by Travis Porter...goofy as hell
download the remix featuring Rick Ross..here..MediaFire..Ross comes in hard on the first verse
Theres so much young talent emerging out of the nations capital recently....its gonna be a big year in 2011
I am a huge Curren$y fan, but I say this mixtape is only decent, there are a fair amount of enjoyable songs but, there just seemed to be too much going on for me in most of the songs but i could just be an idiot, download it for yourself and see. Datpiff.com
I was lazy and should have posted this a while ago but better late than never, Maryland based raper Blazey has been pumping up his release of Real.Big.Year for months now, and I've got to say it does not fall short, Blazey has a clear message, that is well summed up in his opening two tracks "Real Big year" and"Sounds of the Seventh Cloud", Blazey has much talent that will definitely be seen by the public, especially after just joining up with Young Prince and For tha future productions. download mixtape here..Real.Big.Year
for tha future productions has been on their grind to show the talents of DC's own Young Prince, and I think this duo with another DC gem, Brenton Duvall (who has been all over my blog and countless others) really shows how talented he is. Brenton alone with just the James Brown sample as the hook would make for a hit, but prince laces it with his unique flow which makes it impossible not to keep this song on repeat.
Look out for Princes upcoming mix tape W.A.R. dropping on the 10th
